Croatia Long-Distance Love is the name of the new tourist campaign by the Croatian National Tourist Board. To be honest I was more than happy to see that Coronavirus did not put them to sleep. As lockdown measures are getting weaker in most of the countries, it is the right time to think about the tourist season ahead of us.

Croatia took measures against Coronavirus on time which resulted in respectful results. At this moment number of infected people is slightly above 2.000 with 55 total deaths. The number of newly infected people is less than 20 for quite some time now.

In my humble opinion, Croatia could be an interesting destination this year for Central European countries. Two main deciding factors could be strict quarantine measures taken over the last couple of months, and close enough to travel by car. I have to say that I like it. Hopefully, the distance will get shorter and shorter soon, and long-distance love will become the close one.
